I am Perla Mendoza—wife, mother, public servant, and small business owner. For 20 years, I've served our community through education, outreach, crisis counseling, and mental health support.

My conviction to run for office is grounded in the idea of an education system that fosters intellectual growth, and critical thinking, free of ideologies and agendas. Childhood innocence needs to be protected. These essential values ensure our children's educational environment remains unbiased and transparent.

Your vote determines the educational values you desire now and for future generations. My aim is open communication between teachers, administrators, school board members, and our community-prioritizing effective education, parental rights, safe environments, and fiscal responsibility. My campaign is rooted in experiences as a professional and parent.

After losing my beloved son, l've dedicated the past four years to protecting children and families from the dangers and deceptive practices involving illegal drugs, including illicit fentanyl. I played a crucial role in dismantling an OC drug operation that ended in federal prosecution, holding the perpetrator accountable.

The needs of students, not politics is my focus. I need your vote; together we can confront the challenges impacting our schools and create a future where all students thrive.
